The first ten minutes saw lots of battles and some shots but no goals. The first goal belonged to OS with seven minutes to go, Sebastien Bourduas (3G/1A) stepped over half and snapped it in. 1-0. Under three to go, SBW got on the board after Krystle Awmack fired from the wing. The first was locked at 1, shots were 18-8 SBW. SBW came flying out for the second. Mark Laurin (2G/2A) scored two quick ones and SBW took a 3-1 lead. Halfway though the period SBW were on the PP, Rachel Bolzon was in the slot when she wristed it past the glove. 4-1. Two minutes later Andrew Hiscock (2G/2A) found the back of the net and made it 5-1. Just over a minute later, Bourduas was along the wing and fired it five-hole. Another minute, Bourduas fired from a tight angle on the wing and cut the lead down to two, 5-3. There was three minutes left when Sebastien Normand (1G/1A) was below the goal line tried to pass it in front and it deflected off of something and went through the five-hole, one goal game. In the last two minutes OS had the PP, but SBW killed the clock and the PK. In the last seconds of the game Hiscook buried the empty netter and SBW won the game 6-4.
