Ottawa Softball Post Game 6, SBW Comp vs Lumberjacks

We knew going into this game that it was going to be a tough one considering the Lumber Jacks were top of the division.  The first 3 innings were a struggle, barely getting any runs and missing some balls allowing the Lumber Jacks to take the lead. The 4^th inning showed some promise for the Suds, getting 7 runs in one inning all the while having 2 outs. However, the Lumberjacks retaliated and got just as many runs during the same inning and maintained their lead in the game.

The 5^th and 6^th innings did not go in our favour and the end result was our second loss of the season in a 20-10 loss to the Lumber Jacks.

Despite the loss, there were still some amazing plays by our Buds! Justyn had an unbelievable grab and throw from short stop and Seb made an amazing catch in the field that had the Lumber Jacks in disbelief. Katia proved to be a magnet to the ball for injuries but played through it all to the end!
