Friday July 8th
Game 8
Before the game, the big question was Where My Pitches At? The Suds answered slowly at first, but picked up the pace later with multiple hits and HRs.
Where My Pitches At? Not often on the plate… But Where My Hits At? All over the field and over the fences! And now the Suds have a share of first place!
The game started with a bang with a two run moon shot by America (who I like to call Scott). The Suds only scored 4 runs after 2 innings and were trailing 7-4 at the bottom of the third, but exploded for a 6 run inning that put them up for good. After that, the hits kept on coming and the game was never in any doubt! Killer instinct shown by the Suds on Friday!
Big time players :
Eric with a 4/4 performance with 4 runs scored
Krystle scoring 3 runs and hitting an inside the parker
Jessica subbing and getting 3 hits
Yours truly with 3 extra base hits
And kudos to Jamie for giving up his body to the cause, glad to know you’re OK
And as a treat, we all had a glimpse at the new Suds, Buds and Windmills baseball shirt. Great looking shirt worn by even better looking people! What else can you ask for?
Another big game coming this week for the Suds and with the Captain America shirts that’ll be worn by the team, it’ll be a « Marvel » of a game!
