In our next game, we saw a battle of undefeated teams as SBW faced off against DB, as well as the season goalie debut for Claude Blondeau. DB would open the scoring a minute in as Gabriel Grimard would get a pass from the goalie and wristed it home. A few minutes later Jake Miron would bang home a rebound in front. A couple minutes later, Alyssa Magliocco would blast a one-timer past the keeper, 2-1. And that score stood the rest of the way through the half. DB held the edge in shots as 20-12. The second half took a little longer to get started, compared to the first, as just under four minutes in, Kary Poulin would blast home a one-timer. A couple minutes later, Poulin was at it again as she finished off another one-timer, making it 4-1. The next goal was another from Miron, as he would deposit a rebound in front. Karina Labelle would get the next one as she redirected a shot in front. Miron would complete his Hat Trick as he wristed it, short side… and that’s all she wrote as DB take this one 5-3.
