In our next game we had a much closer affair as SBW was taking on HSK. There was only one goal in the entire first half as Marc Bélisle would wrist one home in the slot. That’s how it stood as the first half was very much a goalie duel as HSK held the edge in shots 19-17. Mark Laurin would open the scoring in the second half, while on the power play as he snapped one home from the point, making it 2-0. A few minutes later, Ryan Daigle would tip one home in front to break the goose egg. A couple minutes later, Justin Potenza would even this one up as he would bang home a rebound in front. With about eight minutes remaining, Ken Wardroper would beat the tender while in front to make it 3-2. The rest of the game saw no more goals and HSK would take this one 3-2.
