Ottawa’s Suds Buds and Windmills Softball Thursday Flip Coed Fall ball
It was a beautiful evening September 13th when the SBW flip-coed team, a lady led initiative took on team McLovin. Most teams in this league are surprised to see a 6girl-4 guy split in comparison to the regular 6guy-4 girl split. Many teams come up to the mound thinking it will be an easy win because of this. However, to their dismay the final score was 13-10 (with the chance to answer).
Julie Walpole helped that with an out of the park hit to shock anyone who ever underestimated her raw talent. Defensively, MC got an out at 3rd from the rover position to nab a runner pushing 3rd. Meanwhile the whole thing was filmed live for our beloved Isabelle by a guy 6 beers deep who couldn`t really hold the camera straight. All in all, till next week when the girls will show the guys yet again how to eat $1 hotdogs from the RA Centre and still come out on top!
