Our next game saw the SBW Ottawa ball hockey team taking on the only winless team this season the Saved by the Balls, but would it remain that way? Stay tuned and see. SBW ball hockey team would open the scoring, less than a minute in, as Marc Belisle would get a shot off that just went through everybody and into the net. A few minutes later, Jeremy Grant would get a loose ball in front and tap it home. A few minutes after that, Grant would steal the ball and break in all alone, deked the tender and deposited it giving SBTB the 2-1 lead. A little while later, Tanner McCrae would intercept a pass and walked in and wired it up top, 3-1. That’s how it looked at half, with SBTB holding the edge in shots, 13-7.
The second would see Grant scoring, just fifteen seconds in, as he buried his own rebound, 4-1. Jake Miron would get one back as he walked out from the corner and wristed it, top shelf, 4-2. About five minutes later spare, Julia Watson, would rip one high and beat the keeper, 5-2. With a little under a minute left, Miron would get another one as he buried a rebound in front getting his team as close as he could, 5-3… well that’s how it ended as SBTB finally get their first win of the season.
