We organized a sports equipment drive to support CubaCan—a charitable organization
that provided used sports equipment to children in Cuba. We collected
softball and baseball gear to donate to this Ottawa-based initiative.

It was another great opportunity to give back. Any and all sports equipment was welcomed and appreciated.

Anyone who donated was encouraged to let us know, and we made sure to count it as a
contribution toward our year-end softball party.

Suds, Buds & Windmills participated in many sports around Ottawa—so we knew our members had gear!
From ball hockey, softball, futsal, to volleyball equipment, we asked everyone to check their
basements and garages to see what they could pass along.

A big thank-you to Kim, Claudia, Krystle, and Alex who donated gear and helped make this drive a success!
