SBW looked to continue with a win, while RE are still looking for their first. SBW started the game short since they only had one girl and were able to hold off RE. RE got the first goal from Kennis Sloan (1G/1A) eight minutes in, then three minutes later Brandon Mcgrath (2G) buried his own rebound and tied the game 1-1. There was four minutes left when Zach Verge carried it up the middle to half and sniped it top corner. Two minutes later Pat Charette (1G/1A) picked the ball up on the side of the net and got a few whacks and finally batted it in. The first was locked at 2 a piece. RE had the shots 14-7. On the first shift Amelie Charron gave SBW back the lead. 3-2. There was twelve minutes left, Isabelle Payer went to the side of the net and the rebound came right to her and she buried it. 4-3. Five minutes to go, Mcgrath picked the ball up from the wall took a few steps in and snapped far side past the blocker, 4-4. This one needed a shootout and it came down to the second round. Sloan came up with the goal, while her Duvel made the save. RE claimed their first win 5-4.
