About Us

The Ottawa Suds Buds & Windmills (SB&W) was established in 2010. At the time of its creation, the main goal was to provide co-ed opportunities to play safe recreational-level softball.

Now SB&W has grown into a Club, playing softball while over the years also having Futsal, Volleyball and Ball Hockey teams. In addition to playing sports they also organize an annual softball tournament, events and charity outreaches in the Ottawa region.

Beyond sports there’s dinner club, travel and even a small book club.

SB&W continues to foster new friendships and provides new experiences to Ottawa adults to play and grow as a team.

Over the years, SBW has grown and learned with the help of its sponsors: Broadhead Brewery, Branded Tattoo, Northern Phenix, Southbank Dodge, Ski.Bike.Hike, Metro (Merivale) and Katimavic Massage Therapy.
